Salon 11: Professor Joseph Lassiter, Harvard Business School

Jorge Dominguez, Harvard Vice Provost for International Affairs, discussed the changes in the curriculum at Harvard College. In fact, the new curriculum focus is on the students’ knowledge of the US cultural and historical heritage, as well as an intensive exposure to other societies. The Vice Provost talked about the new president of the university, and the different graduate programs at Harvard University, and the international dimension in Harvard's funding and admission Joseph Lassiter, Professor of Management Practice, Harvard Business School, was the guest of Salon 11. Professor Lassiter illustrated the concepts of entrepreneurship in a global world by discussing three case studies from different geographies and sectors. The event, sponsored by ABN Amro, was attended by HAS members, as well as alumni of MIT, Stanford, Wharton, Oxford, and Insead. The presentation was followed by a seated dinner, where attendees had the opportunities of interacting with Professor Lassiter on a one-to-one basis.
